Note

These notes catch up with several releases since our last published update on 2025.8.8 and are current as of the 2025.8.20 version of the platform.

Bulk Quality Check Templates

You can now create multiple quality checks at once using templates. Apply a single template across many containers and datastores to make setup faster and more consistent for large environments.

Pause & Resume Schedules

Schedules can now be paused and resumed at any time without losing configuration. A new filter also makes it easy to view and manage all paused schedules in one place.

Validate Connections on Edit

You can now verify changes to an existing connection before saving. This helps prevent broken connections that could affect linked datastores.

General Fixes and Improvements

Fixes (5)

  • Correctly indicates that computed fields are not supported in WHERE clauses and removes them from autocomplete
  • Fixed issues related to ANSI SQL compliance in Spark 4
  • Fixed handling of nested data types in the Databricks connector
  • Corrected formatting where “containers read” appeared larger than total containers
  • Resolved layout misalignment in the Filters UI when items were selected

Improvements (2)

  • Improved isReplicaOf check to better handle incremental data comparisons
  • Added support for connecting to Kerberos-secured Hive datastores

As usual, our User Guide and accompanying Change Log captures more details about this release.
