Great Expectations announced today that GX Cloud will be discontinued on June 1, 2026, following an acquisition.
For teams that built their data quality programs on GX Cloud, this creates a real operational problem on a tight timeline. Expectations, schedules, alerting, collaboration workflows, all of it needs a new home in less than a month, while the rest of your roadmap does not slow down.
We have been there. Forced migrations are stressful, and the worst part is usually not the technology. It is the uncertainty about whether you can maintain coverage during the transition without dropping anything.
We are opening up the Qualytics platform to any team affected by the GX Cloud shutdown: Free 60-day access, free migration assistance from our solutions team, and a dedicated CSM to help you get to production fast.
The goal is a soft landing, not another rushed procurement cycle on top of a forced migration.
A quick intro, for teams new to Qualytics
For those who haven't come across us before, Qualytics is an AI-augmented data quality platform built around a few ideas that map closely to what GX Cloud users have been doing:
- AI-curated checks. Qualytics profiles your data and infers about 95% of rules automatically from actual data behavior, so your team focuses on the complex business logic that genuinely needs human expertise, not on hand-authoring every expectation in YAML.
- A UI built for the whole team. Business analysts, data stewards, and governance leads can author rules, review anomalies, and drive remediation alongside data engineers, with no Python required.
- Validate at the point of use. Quality signals run as real-time controls across analytics, applications, copilots, and agents, so data is checked at the moment it drives a decision, not just at predefined pipeline checkpoints.
- Customer-controlled data quality history. Every check, anomaly, and remediation is captured in an enrichment store you own and can query through SQL, BI tools, or your orchestrator.
- Enterprise from day one. Single-tenant Kubernetes-native architecture, SOC 2 compliance, role-based access control, and both managed VPC and on-prem deployment options.
If your team needs a plan, we can help.
